REGRETING WHEN SAKARATUL MAUT
Once there is a friend of the Prophet named Sha'ban RA.
He is a friend who is not outstanding compared to other friends.
There is a unique custom of him that every mosque before praying in congregation starts he always berpikaf in the front corner of the mosque.
He took a position in the corner not because it was easy to lean or sleep, but because he did not want to disturb others and did not want to be disturbed by others in worship.
This habit has been understood by friends even by Rosululloh SAW, that Sha'ban RA always be in that position including during congregational prayers.
One morning at dawn prayers in congregation will begin Rosululloh SAW found that Sha'ban RA is not in position as usual. The Prophet asked the congregation who was present if anyone saw Sya'ban RA.
But none of the pilgrims saw Sha'ban RA. Salat subuhpun postponed for a moment waiting for the presence of Sha'ban RA. But the wait has not come yet. Fearing prayers at dawn late, the Prophet decided to immediately perform the dawn prayers in congregation.
After the dawn prayers, the Prophet asked if anyone knew the news from Sha'ban RA.
But no one answered.
The Prophet asked again if anyone knows where the house of Sha'ban RA.
This time a friend raised his hand and said that he knew exactly where the house of Sha'ban RA was.
The Prophet is worried about something happening with Sha'ban RA asking to be delivered to his home.
Travel by foot long enough to be taken by the Prophet and his entourage before getting to the house in question.
The Prophet's entourage arrived there during the afdol time for dhuha prayer (approximately 3 hours drive).
Up in front of the house the Prophet SAW greeting.
And a woman came out and greeted her.
"Is this really Sha'ban's house?" The Prophet asked.
"Yeah right, I'm his wife" replied the woman.
"May we meet Sha'ban, who was not present during the morning prayers at the mosque?"
With tears in the eyes of Sha'ban RA's wife replied:
"He died this morning ..."
Innalilahi wainna ilaihirojiun ... Masya Alloh, the only cause he did not pray at dawn congregation is because death has picked him up.
Moments later Sha'ban's wife asked Rosul SAW
"Yes Rosul there is something that became a question mark for us all, that is before his death he shouted three times with each shout with a single sentence.
We all do not understand what that means. "
"What are the words he says?" Asked Rosul.
In each of his screams he uttered the phrase:
"Aduuuh why not farther ......"
"Aduuuh why not a new ....... "
"Aduuuh why not all ......"
The Prophet also incited the verse contained in the letter Qaaf (50) verse 22:
"Surely you are in a state of neglect from this (thing), We have revealed from you the veil (covering) your eyes, then your vision on that day is very sharp."
When Sha'ban is in a state of sakaratul death, the journey of his life is replayed by Allah SWT.
Not only that, all the rewards of his deeds are shown by Allah.
What is seen by Sha'ban (and the person who sakratul death) can not be witnessed by others.
In his sharp eyes Sha'ban sees a scene where he daily goes back to the mosque for a five-hour congregational prayer.
The journey of about 3 hours on foot is certainly not a short distance.
In the show also Sha'ban RA is shown the reward obtained from his steps to the mosque.
He saw what kind of heaven he was rewarded.
When he saw that he said:
"Aduuuh why not farther ......"
The regrets arose in Sha'ban, why his home is no farther so that the rewards get more and the heaven that is obtained is more beautiful.
In the next fragment Sya'ban sees as he will set out for a congregational prayer in winter.
As he opened the door blowing cold winds piercing the bones.
She reentered her house and took another shirt to wear. So he wears two shirts.
Sha'ban deliberately put on good clothes (new) inside and the ugly (battered) on the outside.
He thinks if the dust is hit, of course the only thing to wear is the outer clothes. Arriving at the mosque he can undress and pray with a better outfit.
On the way to the mosque he found someone lying cold in a pathetic condition.
Sha'ban was pitiful, then immediately opened the outermost shirt and impressed on the person and encouraged him to get together to the mosque to perform congregational prayers.
The man was saved from
died cold and even had time to pray in congregation.
Sha'ban then saw the beauty of heaven in return for wearing his shaggy clothes to the man.
Then he shouted again:
"Aduuuh why not a new ..."
