The Perfect Cross Breed?
This is Jax, my Labrador German Shepherd mix.
Jax
Labrador's are known for being meek, mild and very good with kids. German Shepherd's are tried and tested guard dogs, with loyal personalities. When you put them together you have a super dog, one which combines tenderness and aggressiveness.
Looking Comfortable
The most noticeable thing about this cross is the switching between personalities, from meek lab to full shepherd when the front gate opens. Its really funny when they return to the lab state afterwards, as in immediately. Jax can go from barking at the door to cuddling within a few seconds and even has the Labrador smiley face.
They love lying watch
It also combines a watch dog, which is a dog that alerts you to intruders but may not attack them, with a guard dog. A guard dog will attack but may not always alert you. This creates what is known as a guardian dog, undoubtedly the most desired type of dog for preppers/survivalists.
I think this is the perfect cross breed for preppers/survivalists, especially those with families.
