The first rain of this summer fell in our city yesterday and it felt like the perfect time to go out and enjoy the weather. Unfortunately there has been very little rain in my city this summer which has made the heat much more intense. Thank God, the first monsoon rains started yesterday and I took full advantage of the beautiful weather...
It was around 5:30 in the evening, when I called my friend to lets go towards walk.. We decided to visit Ali Zaheer Park which is very close to my home.
If I walk there it takes about fifteen minutes to reach the park and is one of the natural parks of the city.
Ali Zaheer Park is a family park where families come to spend time together. It also has a walking track where people come for walks and exercise.
The best thing about this park is the beautiful greenery. You can see grass, trees and plants everywhere. There are swings for children and sitting areas for families where they can enjoy tea and spend time together.
The rain made the weather even more pleasant. Before the rain the temperature was around 38 to 40 degrees. As soon as the clouds appeared and the rain started the temperature dropped to around 32 degrees. This is how the rain and the trees are usefull for dropping the temperature..
To enjoy this beautiful weather my friend Fayyaz and I went out for a walk toward Ali Zaheer Park. On the way we passed through Gulistan Town where I saw some beautiful houses. Many of the balconies had lovely plants and flowers. I took pictures of these beautiful views at different places along the way.
You will also see some moments when it was raining and I took a selfie under a large tree so that I would not get too wet.
As soon as I entered Ali Zaheer Park through the main entrance I saw that many people had come to enjoy the weather. Children were playing on the swings. Families were sitting under trees enjoying tea and spending time together.
People who came for walking were using the walking track. Everyone was enjoying the beautiful weather and spending their memorable time.
I planned to walk at least eight to nine kilometers. I completed four rounds of the large park. Along the way I kept taking pictures of all the beautiful and peaceful scenes that I saw.
We spent around one and a half hours there. We enjoyed the rain and the fresh green surroundings before heading back home.
When I reached home my family had ordered pizza. As soon as I arrived they served me milk tea and pizza. I am very thankful to my family for this lovely welcome.
Spending time together like this during the rainy season is a wonderful experience and is also great for our mental and emotional well being.
