My entry for the #monomad challenge
This tree is known for it's amazing buttress root system. To me they take on an unearthly almost alien life form.
From different angles you can see faces arms legs and creepy creatures. As if they are made from melting wax. See what they reveal 2 you. Open in separate tab 2 reveal the true beauty.
These trees are originally from Australia and many are found in New Zealand especially in parks and public gardens as they grow too large to have in small areas.
This example is in Devenport a suburb of Auckland City and is protected.It stands over 15 metres tall and the trunk is around 6 metres across. Thanks for reading this post
