The Rise of Bitcoin|| The best documentary I have ever watched.
You can't say you understand cryptocurrency without truly understanding its true nature and origin. And to do that you need to have at least some level of knowledge about the first money of the internet that paved way for others like it.
It's simple though, but most of us have zero ideas on how the crypto universe works and we can bearly understand most of the terms used about cryptocurrencies.
We make risky decisions and play on our lack of knowledge, placing everything we have on hope. And when all fails we blame Bitcoin or other altcoins.
The title of this movie is the rise and rise of Bitcoin. The movie is directed by Nicholas Mross and his brother Nicholas Mross. It is a documentary movie that tells the story of the rise of the first money of the internet, created by the anonymous Satoshi Nakamoto, and its struggle to stay alive. The movie also creates a certain level of awareness about what is Bitcoin, how it came into existence, and also how Bitcoin can be used to foster the growth of the economy and the development of the world.
*Personal opinion
I think the movie is simple and straight to the point, as an individual who is new to the crypto-verse, it helps shed a light on the true nature of Bitcoin.
One of my favorite quotes from the movie is, "the government no matter how many guns they draw, cannot change a mathematical problem. They can point a gun to two plus two but it's always going to equal four".
Technology is evolving, money is evolving and the world in its entirety is evolving with cryptocurrencies taking the lead.
So therefore, if you have a love for cryptocurrencies, but you don't have a very good idea of what you are doing. I suggest you watch this movie as it is informative, and dishes out the basic information you need to know about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies alike.
In terms of ratings, it's an 8/10.
