Nada se le puede comparar a la genuina belleza de un corcel. Su imponente figura no tiene igual, sus músculos, el majestuoso pelaje de sus crines y sus tiernos ojos producen en quien los mira una gran admiración. Hoy el motivo de mi inspiración es un hermoso caballo negro. Tomé la silueta de la siguiente imagen y le puse un toque personal como el cabello rizado que me encanta.

Nothing can compare to the genuine beauty of a steed. Its imposing figure has no equal, its muscles, the majestic coat of its mane and its tender eyes produce in those who look at them a great admiration. Today the reason for my inspiration is a beautiful black horse. I took the silhouette of the following image and put a personal touch like curly hair that I love.

Realicé el boceto con un lápiz de grafito.

I made the sketch with a graphite pencil.

Apliqué una aguada en todo el papel tomado en consideración el color de cada área.

I applied a gouache all over the paper taking into consideration the color of each area.

Seguidamente apliqué los tonos más claros en cada área que posteriormente se convertirán en las luces.

Next I applied the lighter shades in each area that would later become the highlights.

Pinté las ramas de los árboles. Este paso es de suma importancia porque mientras no se pintan las ramas son solo manchas de color. Son las ramas las que le da forma y de esta manera podemos reforzar dando las sombras correspondientes. También pinte el pasto y empecé a aplicar el color al caballo. Luego Apliqué un tono amarillo para dar más luminosidad.

I painted the branches of the trees. This step is of utmost importance because as long as the branches are not painted they are just spots of color. It is the branches that give it shape and in this way we can reinforce by giving the corresponding shadows. I also painted the grass and started applying the color to the horse. Then I applied a yellow tone to give more luminosity.

Para pintar el caballo también apliqué un tono gris claro en casi toda la figura exceptuando las crines, la cola el hocico, al cual apliqué un tono amarillo para dar más luminosidad. Lo último fue realizar el pelaje de las crines y la cola y el resultado fue hermoso.

To paint the horse I also applied a light gray tone on almost the entire figure except for the mane, tail and muzzle, to which I applied a yellow tone to give more luminosity. The last thing was to make the fur on the mane and tail and the result was beautiful.
