[ENG/ESP] Macrame bracelet with knots with a personal touch. /Pulsera con nudos en macramé con un toque personal.

One of the things that can hinder us in the elaboration of a project is not choosing the right materials. I mention this because although I chose a macramé thread, perhaps it needed a little stiffness so that the knots would be well assembled. This also gave me a bit of work to do when making the starting knots. I cut two 1 meter strands and one 70 centimeter strand. With a 30 centimeter thread I made a simple knot a little wide to join the third strand since we need this number of threads to work this bracelet. I have already used this technique in other bracelets. I tied six flat knots, cut off the excess and sealed with the lighter.

Una de las cosas que nos puede obstaculizar la elaboración de un proyecto es no elegir los materiales adecuados. Menciono esto porque aunque elegí un hilo macramé tal vez le hacía falta un poco de rigidez para que los nudos quedarán bien armados. Esto también me dió un poco de trabajo al realizar los nudos de inicio. Corte dos hilos de 1 metro y uno de 70 centímetros. Con un hilo de 30 centímetros hice un nudo simple un poco amplio para unir la tercera hebra ya que necesitamos este número de hilos para trabajar está pulsera. Está técnica ya la he utilizado en otros brazaletes. Realicé seis nudos planos corté el excedente y sellé con el encendedor.

Now we have the beginning of the bracelet and are ready to begin. We pass a bead through the left strand and with the right strand we tie 6 knots over the center strand.

Ahora tenemos el inicio del brazalete y estamos listos para comenzar. Pasamos una cuenta por la hebra de la izquierda y con la hebra derecha hacemos 6 nudos sobre la hebra central.

When we have finished these first 6 knots we make a new knot with the central strand and the strand containing the first bead. In this way we close the first link of our bracelet.

Cuando hemos terminado estos primeros 6 nudos realizamos un nuevo nudo con la hebra central y la hebra que contiene la primera cuenta. De esta manera cerramos el primer eslabón de nuestra pulsera.

Now let's work in the same way but on the opposite side. We introduce a bead on the left thread and on the right side we tie the 6 knots. We take the central thread plus the thread containing the bead and we close it. In this way we work the whole bracelet. For mine I used 14 beads. When we get to the end we tie 6 flat knots to repeat the pattern from the beginning.

Ahora trabajemos de la misma manera pero del lado contrario. Introducimos una cuenta en el hilo izquierdo y del lado derecho realizamos los 6 nudos de amarre. Tomamos el hilo central más el hilo que contiene la cuenta y cerramos. De esta manera trabajamos toda la pulsera. Para la mía utilicé 14 cuentas. Al llegar al final realizamos 6 nudos plano para repetir el patrón de inicio.

To give it my personal touch I put a bronze chain. I thought the colors matched very well. I did this by inserting one of the two end strands through the first link of the chain, then passed the chain through the center of the weave and from then on I just twisted it around the bracelet. When I reached the end I passed it again through the fabric and from there I passed one of the strands of thread through the last link of the chain. This way it was perfectly fastened.

Para darle mi toque personal le coloque una cadena de bronce entorchada. Me parece que los colores se combinaban muy bien. Esto lo hice introduciendo uno de los dos hilos extremos por el primer eslabón de la cadena, luego pase la cadena por el centro del tejido y de allí en adelante solo la entorche alrededor de la pulsera. Al llegar al final la pasé nuevamente por el tejido y de allí pase una de las hebras de hilo por el último eslabón de la cadena. Así quedó perfectamente sujeta.
