Happy day to all of you. You can imagine that everyone has been working at full speed to present their Monday projects, and the simple fact that it's Monday, makes that project even more special, at least that's how I feel.

Every finished project, big or small, leaves in us the sweet taste of one more achievement, but when they are projects that have taken us a little more time or have had a certain degree of difficulty, at that last point you can feel the success more closely knowing that perseverance and perseverance always brings good fruits.

I spent about four weeks working on this handbag. Between one thing and another I always put it aside to give priority to another project, so somehow it was lagging behind and I felt that at some point it would end up in a bag and after a few months I would unweave it and turn it into something else. With this in mind I set out to finish my bag and put it at the top of my to-finish list and dedicated the weekend to finishing it.

Entre una y otra cosa siempre lo dejaba de lado para darle prioridad a otro proyecto, así que de alguna manera se estaba quedando rezagado y sentía que en algún momento terminaría en una bolsa para después de unos meses destejerlo y convertirlo en otra cosa. Pensando en esto me propuse terminar mi bolso y lo puse de primero en mi lista de cosas por terminar y dediqué el fin de semana para acabarlo.

I started with a chain of 38 chain stitches plus 2 stitches to give height. We knit with low stitches in the shape of an oval with increases at the ends, first 3 increases at each end, then one increase at each stitch for a total of 6, then 12 and in the fourth round 18 low stitches.

In the fifth row we change the color of the yarn and knit one more row before starting with the puff stitches. For the hangers, I recycled the inner part of an old bag that gives the structure. I wove two pieces in a rectangular shape and then sewed them around the structures to attach them to the bag.

When I tell you about the process, I realize how simple it is. One of the things that made me procrastinate was that I did not see the work progressing, this is one of the main reasons why we abandon or postpone projects, because there are others where progress is faster and it is one of the ways in which impatience plays against us. I learned from this that I must be careful and not lose focus when I have already advanced in a project, or if I want to do several at the same time, dedicate the same amount of time to each one and not leave any of them behind. Cuando les relato el proceso, me doy cuenta de lo sencillo que es. Una de las cosas que me hacía postergar el trabajo era que no veía que avanzara, esta es una las principales razones por las que abandonamos o postergamos proyectos, pues hay otros donde se avanza más rápido y es una de las formas en las que la impaciencia nos juega en contra. Aprendí de esto que debo ser cuidadosa y no perder el enfoque cuando ya he avanzado en un proyecto, o si deseo hacer varios al mismo tiempo, dedicarles la misma cantidad de tiempo a cada uno y así no dejar ninguno rezagado. Lo bueno siempre se crece en cada proyecto y éste también forma parte de ese aprendizaje. Saludos y mis buenos deseos.
