Encouraging my daughter's creativity is very important to me, as it is for any mother. My little girl and I have a great resemblance when it comes to creativity and I love that she develops skills and gives free rein to her imagination. Through her childish play I can see the things she likes and how she excels. In the last few months I have seen her sing at the top of her lungs for a long time, she asks me for my microphone liner and places it on a spoon and I get a good laugh out of the way she improvises both her microphone and her song. This inspired me to crochet a microphone for him. The idea came up and I quickly got to work on it to give my little Rafaella her new microphone so she can sing to her heart's content.

Incentivar la creatividad de mi hija es algo muy importante para mí, lo mismo que para cualquier madre. Mi pequeña y yo tenemos un gran parecido en cuanto a lo creativo y me encanta que desarrolle habilidades y de rienda suelta a su imaginación. Con sus juegos infantiles puedo notar las cosas que le gustan y cómo se destaca. En los últimos meses la he visto cantar a todo pulmón por largo rato, me pide el forro de mi micrófono y lo coloca sobre una cuchara y me causa mucha risa la manera en que improvisa tanto su micrófono como su canción. Esto me inspiró para hacerle un micrófono a crochet. La idea surgió y rápidamente me puse a trabajar en ello para darle a mi pequeña Rafaella su nuevo micrófono para que cante a sus anchas.

Basically it consists of only two parts; the base or casing that I put together with gray wool and the grid in magenta.

For the casing I started with a magic ring with 6 stitches and then in the first round I increased to 12 single crochet stitches. The third round I increased 6 stitches in between, resulting in 18 single crochet stitches. The third round, 2 single crochet and 1 increase for 24 single crochet stitches.

I made a small detail on the front to simulate the buttons. I took this from some microphones for girls that I saw on the internet. Basically I worked in a 12 stitch chain working the increases at the ends in each round. Only two loops so it doesn't get too wide and fit right into the casing. I made some embroidered buttons and believe me this was something precise because my daughter as soon as she saw the buttons she understood everything and immediately said that with them she turned on and off her microphone.

Hice un pequeño detalle al frente para simular los botones. Esto lo tomé de algunos micrófonos para niñas que ví en internet. Básicamente trabaje en una cadena de 12 puntos trabajando los aumentos en los extremos en cada vuelta. Solo dos vueltas para que no quede demasiado ancho y quepa justo en la carcasa. Realice unos botones bordados y creanme esto fue algo preciso porque ni hija a penas vio los supuestos botones lo entendió todo y de inmediato dijo que con ellos prendía y apagaba su micrófono.

Finally I added some golden pearls to finish off the union of the pieces and also to give a more feminine touch. This is all friends of the needles, really easy, there is nothing special about making this piece, but it causes a great sensation in our little ones, so if you have a little girl at home and you can make her something like this, it will be something she will remember all her life.
