guys, today has been an amazing and impressive day.
A few weeks ago a lady posted that the local graveyard was a mess and couldn't find who was responsible to clear it up.
After reaching out to the local council and other companies she came to no avail and was getting sick to the back teeth of been given the runaround.
I couldn't just sit here doing nothing, so I decided to help, and I could only help in one way and that was to get down there and clear it myself.
On my first trip, no one else joined me and I ended up giving in as the winds nearly took my strimmer out of my hands.
This time I was armed with my bigger much heavy strimmer and a team of people who wanted to help.
At 2PM today we all met at the local graveyard, and as I was the only one with a strimmer I got to work blasting down the tall grass and weeds that had taken over the place.
The others helped by clearing my way of rubbish glass and other obstacles that could cause me a problem.
They collected 7 bags of rubbish and a cone, it was a great clean up, and by the time I had finished strimming I managed to get the whole graveyard cut and all graves accessible.
It was a great turn out, this community really shows it cares about each other and I am thankful for living here.
I ended up going through 15 meters of 2.3mm line on my strimmer doing this job, and I loved every minute of it.
I am however a little cold now.
Until next time my friends, stay safe
