I got a little into this really quickly and had already started working with black pencil crayon by the time I remembered to take a picture. This is an Sunbear which are from Malayasia and really cute and playful. They also love carrots and watermelon.
I did a quick sketch and then went right into doing some black pencil crayon as an experiment. I kinda wish I'd done more pencil work first.
Some more black worked in. One of the things I like about polychromos pencil crayons is they smudge.
And I added colour. The carrot ended up looking more like honey. The tongue is also all wrong. But hey I did it.
If anyone else does work in crayon share any advice you care to.
