I explored the open Yaran riverways en route to Philly, passing patrol boats and spotting Máximas Matanzas territory. Stopping to investigate a river house, I saw a plane overhead, silently eliminated two Castillo soldiers with a suppressed rifle, dumped their bodies, and scavenged the house while admiring the scenic views.
With most of the world now open for me to explore, I set out on the water, planning to eventually meet up with Philly for my next major mission.
As I navigated the vast riverways, I had to keep a close eye out for Castillo's soldiers, who were actively patrolling the waters in armed gunboats.
Having the freedom to go anywhere, I took my time exploring the surrounding islands rather than rushing straight to my primary objective.
Along the way, I reached an island where I knew I was eventually supposed to meet up with Máximas Matanzas. However, I wasn't looking forward to jumping into that operation right away, choosing instead to stick to my original plan of starting with Philly after checking out the map.
I turned my boat toward a distant tower that I hadn't been able to reach during my last run through the area.
While steering down the channel, a cool-looking river house on the bank caught my eye, so I pulled up to the dock to investigate.
Just as I stepped onto land, an airplane flew low overhead, reminding me that I would soon have regular access to airplanes and choppers. I couldn't wait to get my hands on a permanent flying ride so I could soak in the beautiful aerial views of these Yaran islands from high above.
While I was on the property looking around, a boat carrying some of Castillo's men pulled up to the shoreline. I knew immediately that if they spotted me trespassing, they would open fire without hesitation.
Wanting to control the situation, I decided to take the initiative and eliminate them before they even realized I was there. Aiming through the scope of my silenced rifle, I dropped both soldiers with precise, silent shots without making a single noise or alerting anyone nearby.
Once the threat was cleared, I dragged their bodies to the edge of the dock and dumped them into the river to make sure there wouldn't be any consequences or alarms raised later.
With the coast completely clear, I went inside the beach house to search the rooms, gathering up a helpful collection of supplies left behind inside.
Standing near the open windows, I paused to look out at the picture-perfect scenery. Looking at the pristine water and lush trees outside, I couldn't help but wish I had a house of my own just like this one, sitting right on the water with incredible, unfiltered views of the coast.
How about we continue in another post?
Thanks for reading my post.
