Last time I drew this character in a paper with pencil and then I thought of trying this character at an elder age and in digital. Then I thought of giving him a theme of a tennis player and show off what I cooked in my kitchen (Don't forget, I'm the chef of art).

Source

This is the picture that I followed from a gaming site which is splinterlands.com. In my theme, this kid gets older and becomes a tennis player.

Tools:
I used some tools in Adobe Illustrator

  • Pen Tool to create the whole thing.
  • Rotate Tool to rotate some parts of the source picture.
  • Ellipse Tool to make some circled.
  • Round Rectangle Tool to use especially when drawing the eyes.

And I used Brush tool in Adobe Photoshop and worked on the colors.

The Process:

I started drawing with the face part and I took idea from the original picture and I tried to give the face an elder look and I think I'm succeeded in giving him an elder look.

Then I started working on the body part and I was giving the body a look of a tennis player so the hand on the shoulder should hold a tennis bat so I kept it like that and I kept the other hand as if it's in a pocket of the trouser.

Then I drew the hands, a tennis bat and the lower part of the body and then I drew the magical stick and put it in a pocket of the trouser as you can see.

Then I took the whole thing to Adobe Photoshop and I used brush tool and worked on the coloring part a bit and made the colors looks a little blurry with different colors. And I added a background picture, a tennis court actually. The background picture is collected from unsplash. And then I officially finished this drawing.

How's it? I'd like to get some honest opinions.
If anybody has any kinds of advice, suggestions for my work, I would be happy to receive them.

Thanks for reading and watching my work.
