Dear Steemians,
One of my goals is to become a Full-Stack Developer.
On the January 1st 2018 I started coding, but for real. Every I add do at least 2 hours of coding to improve my skills.
Currently I am doing WesBos's 30 Day Vanilla JS Coding Challenge and is going great. Also, I have started a Udemy course: Colt Steele's Web Development Bootcamp. I have to say they are amazing courses, and they have helped learn a tremendous amount about coding and web development. I have been doing these courses for the past two weeks, and now I want to keep of written log of it.
Because I want myself to be accountable so from this day (January 15th 2018) I am going to blog every day about my struggles, ups and down, successes and victories. I believe this way I can hold myself accountable as well as show to people how they can do it too.
I want to prove to myself and the world that I can achieve my goal of becoming a web developer.
That is it possible to succeed if you work hard and believe that you can do what you know deep down you have to do.
I don't know how long the posts will be, but I will do my best to describe the coding projects I am doing and how I feel about my skills. Because I know that hard work, and deliberate practice works. It is something that is so obvious, it puzzles me how people don't realize this.
No matter how short or long the post will turn out to be I want to record my thoughts and ideas, even if it is just how I feel about the project, in order to keep myself to my promise.

Today, I worked on a project Local Storage (JavaScript30). The idea is how to create a list of items which after being added to the page will stay there even if you refresh the page. Even though the code seems hard to grasp at first is actually not that difficult. I know now how the 'const' is used within functions and it is really useful to console.log the const to see what it does and if there is a problem. There still a lot for me to learn but I think I know a lot more.
I also continued the Bootstrap unit (Web Development Bootcamp) and did the form, input, and grid system part. Bootstrap is amazing and really useful, because you can create templates really fast. Furthermore, you can tweek it your way to add your own touch.
P.S. More is coming. I hope :)Feel free to comment or ask questions. This is my first try of doing something like this. I will do my best.
Thank you for your patience!
Aron
