The challenges facing the Indonesian nation are getting heavier over time
to time. As a developing country that aspires to be a
a nation that can sit as low and stand as tall as
the advanced nations of the world. Indonesia faces many challenges
which is increasingly complex. Internal problems, both concerning life
economic, political, social, and cultural increasingly visible
investigating, accompanying challenges that strike from outside that do not
easy to control. Although our government has experienced
several times the change of order and regime, but the new government
replacing it seems incapable to overcome problematics
internal.
The process of globalization that took place since the end of the 20th century is increasing
in piercing the heart of the nation's life and has given rise to diversity
new problems.
The problematics that become global challenges to
the existence of national identity is as follows.
a. The plurality of Indonesian society is not only related to culture,
but also the social, political, and economic dimensions of society
the process of information globalization brings a very complex impact.
b. The emergence of the monetary crisis which later developed into a crisis
multidimensional. In a relatively short time Indonesia experienced
