Sowing and Harvesting

Gentle readers of steemit below I present to you how was the procedure of my harvest, for nobody is a secret the difficult economic situation in Venezuela and the food to be more specific is an item that does not escape this sad reality, the carbohydrates get resold at 200% higher than its regulated price, all this led me to think that doing to combat this situation as I rindo more money for food, look at the patio of my house and consult with my father-in-law and I said let's put to produce these small lands, we decided to plant this delicious vegetable called yuca, here in Venezuela we prepare sancochadas, in soup, we accompany it with roasted chicken, in grills, and we can use it in lunches and dinner is very versatile

We proceeded to channel some adult cassava cuttings in the municipal market of Barcelona, which was supplied by a vendor in the area and to investigate which is the most effective process to sow them, since in truth it did not handle the subject, the process of the planting takes a series of steps.

They are then aligned as follows:

• We used the cutting (stem of an adult cassava plant) and we sowed it 1 meter deep (we used a beak and proceeded to open the hole).
• We do it 7 months in advance and in winter.
• Cut the leaves below the stem and leave the cliffs.
• After two days that dry cutting we sow in a straight downward direction, it is worth noting that we can use any type of sand except for the beach sand as it contains salt.
• Temperatures should be between 28 degrees and 34 degrees.
• 30 bushes were planted with a direction to sunlight.

After 7 months, already with a few developed plants we decided to dig the earth with a beak and observe the harvest, we find in each plant about 5 yuca, then we pull with a lot of caution upwards without much force so that the yucca does not break . Each weighed approximately 800 grams to 1kg, with 5 plants a family of 4 people like mine we have yucca for 15 days approximately and we can substitute for carbohydrates. The satisfaction that is felt is very pleasant, years ago I did not believe in entering this world but the current life in Venezuela generates change which we must face with gallardy and the alimentary sowing does not escape it.
