#Fungi Friday 🍄 🍄 🍄 - Coprinus! from nucleation to decomposition

It rained of course, but I still could not find edible mushrooms(
But I can’t to say that my another trip was unsuccessful...
If at the beginning of spring I came across just the old, last year Polypores, then I regard today's find as a real treasure! Since if Coprinus started, it means that soon growth and other species will start, good edible mushrooms!)

So I present to you the first Coprinus family, from the smallest to the oldest, decayed and dried up!)

I came across these fungi near a stream, where it is very damp ...

And in total I counted them about a hundred pieces!

Small, big, spoiled and completely dry ...

Once I read that people eat them!
But since they are very difficult to bring home (they quickly turn black and deteriorate), I did not even try to take them with me ...

But I still broke a few pieces, to look inside!

Of these fungi, ink was previously prepared! Many people still call these fungi - Ink ...

These fungi turn black before our eyes!

They grow very massively, and in one glade you can find all stages of development of these fungi!

Nearby, in the grass, I noticed a couple of snails carried away by each other, so I did not bother them and went on ...

After walking a bit, I came across such a huge Polypore!
It just lay in the grass and from a distance reminded me of a church bell ...

Looking up, I saw several UFOs attached to the trees)

Some are like puff pastries)

In general, there are a lot of very large, old trees in this forest! And on many of them, such huge and interstitious Polypores grow in large numbers ...

Someday I will put them all together, and I will make an extensive post about this forest, these trees and these Polypores!
I just want to wait for the fresh Polypores, so that you can compare them in the prime of life and old copies ...
