I just noticed this today, but Steemit asked me for permissions to enable Chrome Notifications. These are notifications that pop up when the people we follow post new articles.
I personally thing this is amazing and allows me to stay closer and more up to date.
On top of this, the Promote button is finally back on Steemit!
