What do you guys think about hope?

Comprehension of Hope

We live in a day and age where we are told to keep our chin up and through all the darkness hope will prevail, but hope can be delusional. What if letting go now is your salvation? Yet your undying hope prevents you from letting go of strife. Hope is waiting for a higher power to bring down what you desire. Hope is trusting for a better moment. Hope is trust. Misplaced hope is delusion. So be careful what you place your faith in as it can result in your being tossed into an endless spiral of nothingness and anxiety.

Trust is confidence in the strength of something and confidence comes from valid prediction.

However... Where is the absolute truth?
I think it's not fair to say you don't trust anything because to be sceptical is to place your trust in the idea of proof & proper judgement.

But to really have no trust, in anything, is a truly open person. In fact calling that form of openness a "trust" is incorrect now that I think about it. Because trust involves a confidence in something but being completely open is not about confidence, but rather it's a giving up. A giving up doesn't require confidence, it's like dying. It's really unexplainable.

How does a knowing come about?
Knowing only comes from collectively agreed upon ideas as true, or from an inner feeling that arises in the moment.

Hope is void of knowing, otherwise it wouldn't be hope. It would be knowing. It's waiting on a glimmer of chance.

Better to Do than Hope

Many don't really believe in hope, or in anything else. For me, there are only the things as they are, not how they could be, those things can't be modified by only the willing for them too. Just sheer hoping to do an event or to find salvation doesn't just come about from just praying in anticipation but more from an action happening where something is done.

Perhaps having no trust is the ultimate form of trust as we have no form of dependence on anyone so there is no reason to feel apprehensive and worried.

Seeing things as they reveal a personal truth for everyone and in which I believe is everything.
