Archmage Update: Your New My Account Page

Greetings, Battle Mages!

A question we get a lot on Discord is some version of "my settings look fine, so why isn't my account battling?" The answer is usually something small: a Wild pass that ran out, a posting key that changed, energy that hasn't come back yet. Until today you had to ask us to find out. Now archmage.app tells you itself.

Log in and open the new Account page in the menu. It has three parts.

Account health

Each time the bot looks at your account, it now records how that went: whether it played, and if not, why. The Account page puts that next to a set of checks it runs itself, and shows anything that needs your attention, most important first. Each item comes with a button that takes you to the fix. The checks include:

  • no bot settings saved yet, or your account switched off
  • no posting key on file, or Splinterlands no longer accepting it (this usually means your Hive keys were changed, so save the new posting key in Settings)
  • no Archmage access token
  • no reward delegation and no SPS credits
  • "Burn SPS Rewards" switched on in your Splinterlands settings
  • no Wild season pass for the current season (you can turn on auto-buy in Settings)
  • collection power or staked SPS below the minimums you set
  • a Survival bracket that doesn't allow automated play
  • waiting for energy, paused at your daily win target, or waiting out your start delay

When nothing is wrong you get one green line instead, with the time of your last battle and its result.

Daily rewards

Splinterlands gives a ranked reward at 5, 10 and 15 Wild wins each day. The page shows how many wins you have today, which reward you're heading for ("Targeting reward 3 of 3: 2 wins to go"), and how long until the daily reset. It also gives a rough estimate of how many more battles your energy and your battles-per-hour setting allow before then.

The target follows your own Daily max setting. If you've told the bot to pause after 10 wins, the page aims for reward 2. If the energy you have left won't reach the target, it tells you which reward is still within reach, and points you to auto-buy energy and Glint draws if you want more battles.

Battle analytics

Click Connect Splinterlands and approve one login in Hive Keychain. It's the same login splinterlands.com itself uses: nothing is broadcast, and the session stays in your browser tab. You then see your own battles broken down:

  • win rate, wins and losses, and rating change
  • by ruleset, by your splinter, by the splinter you played against, and by mana cap
  • every card you fielded, with how often it played and how those battles went

Filter by the last 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days or everything saved, by format if you also play Survival, and set a minimum number of battles so small samples don't mislead you. Splinterlands shows the last 100 battles per format, and your browser keeps what it has already seen, so the history grows each time you visit.

These numbers come from your own battles, so they're a good way to see where your account does well, which rulesets cost it the most, and which cards in your collection are actually carrying it.

Do you need to do anything?

No. The page is live now for every account we play. The health check starts filling in from your account's next battle, usually within the hour.

May your energy bar never sit full!
