Hi, dear Ecency community! 👋

Today I am filled with joy to share with you this piece from 2014.
It is a painting I have titled "Three Miracles," a work in which I wanted to capture the majesty and fragility of nature.
This work belongs to my personal collection and means a lot to me.

The central subject of the work is three tulips in a deep, vibrant purple. I wanted the petals to feel almost tangible, so I focused a lot on the interplay of light and shadow to highlight that velvety texture the flowers have in reality. The delicate touches of white light on the edges of the petals aim to give them that volume and that feeling of freshness.

To create a dramatic yet serene contrast, I chose a bright sky-blue background. This blue gradient not only makes the color of the flowers stand out spectacularly, but also gives them an air of purity and luminosity. Below, the leaves and stems in dark green tones anchor the composition, giving structure and life to the whole.

Why "Three Miracles"?
Sometimes we see flowers as something everyday, but if we stop to look at their structure, their folds, and the way light passes through them, we realize that each one is a small masterpiece. The title comes from that reflection: contemplating the perfection and ephemeral beauty of blooming as a true miracle of life. Also, the number three has always evoked harmony, balance, and fullness for me.

As an artist, my greatest wish with this piece is to convey serenity and wonder. I would love to know what you think.

What emotions do tulips convey to you? Are they among the flowers you most enjoy painting or contemplating? I'll read you in the comments!

Thank you for accompanying me in this space and for valuing art made with the heart. 💜✨

¡Hola, querida comunidad de Ecency! 👋
