This romcom anime follows the story of "Rintaro Tsumugi", a second-year student at Chidori High, a public high school of delinquents. He has a fierce appearance and reputation, but is actually a kind and gentle person who sometimes helps at his family's patisserie, and "Kaoruko Waguri", a wealthy girl from an elite private academy, Kikyo Girls' High, next door. She is a regular customer at Rintaro's family's bakeshop, where they meet by chance and begin to connect and develop a relationship despite their school's animosity.

The two schools, Chidori Public High and Kikyo Private Academy, harbour a deep-seated animosity toward each other, viewing one another as the polar opposites of society.
I find this anime enjoyable, especially since I enjoy watching wholesome, healthy, and emotionally authentic romance stories like this one.

I really like the story and would surely love to recommend this one. It provides life lessons, empathy, and a healthy relationship with friends, showing how their personal growth blossoms amazingly.
I admire their attitude and perspective in facing or overcoming social pressures and prejudice. I enjoy their bonding, whether it's through group studies or going out for fun.

At my age right now, I still genuinely love to watch this kind of show, and I'm thankful there are animated films and series that offer these incredible plots and stories.
