Hello everyone, hope you're all well. I understand very well that today is not Friday but for the passion, I have for market and business. I have no other option than to keep sharing with you through #MarketFriday as it's being managed @dswigle where you can view other people's posts across the entire continents of the world.
Considering the fact that a market is a place where goods and services are being rendered publicly or privately. A market is also a place where we buy and sell all kinds of goods for profit-making. Are you aware that everything we do in life is all about marketing?
Without a market, I don't think life and the stomach will be completely okay. We as living things being human, need a market to survive. My major concern about Africa as a continent is that we don't have standard markets where things are manufactured and are sold cheaply. About 90% of what we use in Africa are imported and for that reason, it will be sold very high.
I keep praying for Africa and Nigeria that God should make our economy to be strong and good like that of the foreign countries like the USA, Germany, England, Turkey, Taiwan, China, and others in terms of business growth.
Let me get down to the business of today. I visited one of the small-medium shops that I used to visit last year in Markudi Benue State Nigeria. This shop is close to Benue State University and the shop is owned and managed by a woman with one kid.
When entered this shop recently in 2022, I discovered that this shop has changed significantly to be compared to 2021. The shop has increased in business growth, increased in goods, and increased in size. Looking at this woman's business expansion. As a financial Analyst, I strongly believe that the total income and the expenditure in 2021 were properly handled and in that effect." it's expected that before 4Q24". Her business will be among the top leading businesses in Markudi Benue State.
Do you know why I visited this shop this year? It's because I needed some bread and tea which I took this morning. Inside this shop, there are so many goods to buy. One of the things, why I like buying from this chop, is the way the goods are arranged according. The arrangement of goods inside this chop "makes the goods from the chop more attracting for customers".
In this shop, I bought Yale bread (bread way hand no touch) at $0.25 per one. This bread is among the most hygienic bread in Nigeria and I love eating it.
I also bought a peak milk sachet at $0.13 and a sachet of Milo at $0.12. I just like taking tea in the morning and I don't like taking any tea with sugar.
After I bought things for my tea, I have no option but to also buy things that I used to make small stew for myself and my family too. I bought a cup of rice for $0.18 and I bought ten cups.
I also bought the things for the stew from this shop. I bought a small plate of tomatoes for $0.16 per plate. A plate of pepper for $0.08.
After I bought things here, I also have to buy ice fish. I bought ice fish for $1.2.
One thing in life is "whatever thing you do in life that does earn you some money". You just have to take it seriously. Looking at this woman's shop, I believe she's doing well in her business and by so doing "she will keep growing just like other great businessmen and women of the world.
