While it is true that the Ukrainians are better equipped than Hamas, Hamas still have most of the things that have been effective for Ukraine in urban battles - ATGMs, RPGs, mortars, drones and very deep and heavy underground entrenchments.

Neither side in Ukraine has used armoured vehicles much in urban battles and most battles have been decided by infantry and artillery. The main thing Hamas lack is heavy artillery, but Israel's defensive systems can shoot that down too.

Israel has already defeated Hamas (having conquered almost all its territory) and now is utterly annihilating it. All in one month of fighting.

Russia is just starting to get some small victories against Ukraine, after almost 2 years!
Russia took 9 months to take Bakhmut which is smaller and much lower population than Gaza city. Also Ukraine evacuated civilians while Hamas uses them as shields, so Israel has had to be much more precise than the Russians (who just used massive inaccurate artillery barrages).

Seeing as I served for almost 4 years in the Australian Army and have very closely followed military affairs for decades, I think I know a bit more about military matters than you.
