The Russians are facing an enemy which has an air force, hundreds of heavy artillery guns, hundreds of tanks and infantry fighting vehicles along with scalp cruise missiles and HIMARS rocket systems and hundreds of thousands of trained soldiers. AFU soldiers are trained to NATO standards and go into battle with bullet proof vests and helmets. Never mind the financial and military backing of NATO which is the largest military alliance in the world. NATO provides satellite intelligence to the AFU for the conduct of its operations.
Let's compare that to the enemy which the IDF faces. Hamas has no air force, no heavy artillery, no tanks, no infantry fighting vehicles, no cruise missiles. Hamas has at most 40,000 men in its fighting ranks who are not given body armour or helmets and definitely not given advanced combat training like AFU troops are. Do I need to go on? Yet the IDF has failed to defeat Hamas in an area which is 5 miles wide and 25 miles long. Russia is fighting across a 1000 mile front.
IDF units display an amazing lack of tactical awareness and commit rookie errors on a daily basis. I've seen numerous pictures/videos of IDF artillery and armour all bunched together in large groups. If they did that in Ukraine they would destroyed in no time.
