As you can imagine, it doesn’t snow often here in the Mohave desert. But yesterday Las Vegas had a bit of snowfall. It didn’t stick to the ground (rarely does) but it did make for some gorgeous mountain tops.
Here’s a quick photo I snapped on the road towards Red Rock Canyon. I love the contrast from the brown and dusty desert and the snowy mountain top.
Nevada actually means snow capped. Little geography trivia for you ;)
