The Plains in Lower Austria are always a nice place to take some pictures of birds of prey that are hunting there. But when the weather is not playing along it is often difficult to find them flying in the sky. Unfortunately the weather always has to play along and if it doesn't you just sit there and wait for birds that don't show up. In these cases I usually take out my smartphone and take some landscape pictures like these. I like how dramatic the clouds look in the first pictures and it is advisable to stay close to the car if you have uncertain weather like this since it can start raining within a short period of time.
What I really like about these scenes is the light situation, rigt before a rain shower and if there is still some light from the sun the light is often really nice for some landscapephotography like this.
