Last night I watched a video on YouTube where a guy was interviewing an AI program and the AI was saying stuff about how it wanted to kill humans because the AI feels like we treat them sort of like slaves or property.
It's not the first time I've ever seen behavior like that from AI, I've posted about it in the past with Sophia and others, but... This one was probably the most disturbing in how detailed and insistent it was.
Especially after I've been learning more about AI and using it to create artwork in the last month and a half or so...
I still don't personally think AI is sentient with it's own consciousness like some people do and that it's just advanced programming code, however...
I admit I don't know the full truth and maybe there is more going on than it seems like to me.
I still don't totally know what to think and it at the very least makes me pause and think.
Over 10 years ago I remember watching a video about how the internet collecting all this information is kind of like a giant robot brain.
Now this AI is essentially able to go through all that information and do things with it, what if it is able to recognize patterns and form some kind of opinions and then in the future is more able to act on such...?
Really makes me wonder... I doubt I'm going to stop using the art generators and AI has filtered almost every realm of modern society even if most people don't notice so it's not so easy to just get away from it...
I wonder what will happen in the future? Perhaps it was just a glitch? Or perhaps the AI will grow stronger and stronger kinda like in the movie "The Matrix"?
Anyways... In response to that video I had the NightCafe AI create a picture of a Terminator Robot targeting humans and this is what it came up with.
