I've decided to embark upon a little personal project to improve my skillset and give myself a challenge. That challenge is hard forking AnchorCMS and turning it into my own software. This will, of course, still be open-source and available for free should anyone want to use it.
I chose AnchorCMS because it is a lightweight software. It is not feature heavy at all, so that leaves a ton of space for customizing it without a huge learning curve. It also seems to be coded pretty well from what I've looked at so far, which is also a plus.
I have not developed a roadmap for the project yet, but I do have a decent amount of features I plan to implement. Those include but are not limited to the following...
This is just a tiny list of things I plan on adding to Anchor and will grow in time. I will post an update very soon when more concrete plans are established! I am still reading through documentation and the base code.
