When I think of motivation I think of that thing that "causes" me to want to pursue something. For example I want to make money and enjoy my work; so I'll go to college for a degree that I want that pays well. That desire to make money and enjoy my job would be my "motivation". But... doing that course, I've realized (at least intellectually) that motivation is transient, it's something... like really anything else, that can change and be changed. It's not something to be attached to, but it's something to be watched and affected.
So now... I want to meditate on it specifically... like it's the breathe or it's awareness. Like it's something I can watch and change and know.
