Quick additional thought. These drops have been largely caused by whales dumping. Why they are dumping is the question. Need money for their august holiday?
Again, August is normally pretty brutal for bitcoin. This has been a cycle back at least 5 years. However, it could cause BTC to drop massively. Potentially all the way down to $2900 based on the past. I doubt that, but it is possible.
