This screenshot motivational poster is dedicated to all of my Boomubbles-shipping friends, fellow artists, fans, and brethren. Ergo, soak in that Boomubbles loveliness, sweetness, adorability, and cuteness.
Even though I fell out of love with the color-code couples, Boomubbles is definitely that one color-coded pairing which holds up so well to this very day. Long story short, I have shipped this and Robike ever since I was a young teenager. Now as a 27-year-old man, I have more reasons to cherish Boomubbles as not only the greatest couple of a pairing category that I do not really care for these days but also one that continues to leave a warm, fuzzy feeling in my heart because of everything Boomer and Bubbles represent as a couple. Boomer's good-humored, emphatic, lovable dumb muscle personality can pair up really well with Bubbles' brand of kindness, grace, and gregariousness to the point where I can never stop rooting for the Blues as a wonderfully sweet couple. Ergo, Boomer would admire Bubbles for her kind-heartedness, sweetness, sensitivity, and mercy while Bubbles would admire Boomer for his super strength, attentiveness, good humor, and loyalty, thus building up this bright, positive aura of appreciating each other for who they are and staying true to themselves no matter what the circumstance may be.
Boomubbles is the classic example of childhood sweethearts liking each other in a puppy love manner, then grow up to become the star-crossed lovers that they are as teenagers, and as adults, end up in an unbreakable relationship based on loyalty, seeing the best in each other, and sticking by each other through thick and thin while surprising each other along the way. To say that I pair them up so passionately just because they are counterparts would be very shallow and stupid of me. My main reason for shipping Boomubbles to this day is how well Boomer and Bubbles click as a fine color-coded couple as opposed the other color-coded couples in the forms of the Reds and the Greens. Yes, on the surface, Boomer and Bubbles are pretty similar to each other because they are the nice ones, are the most sympathetic, and the most lovable in their own special ways. However, if one were to look beyond the surface, Boomubbles' relationship is based on loyalty, positive encouragement, unconditional love, free-spiritedness, empathy, and finding the best in each other without any ulterior motives whatsoever. Therefore, Boomer can use his peerless athleticism, super strength, and lightning speed to protect Bubbles from all harm, thus making her admire him on a high level, and Bubbles can use her brand of empathy, attentiveness, kindness, mercy, and love to root for Boomer, thus making him proclaim to the world that Bubbles is his only reason for living, he is more than glad to have her in his life, and no amount of animosity can tear them apart.
Personalities aside, their hobbies and interests are another set of traits that make Boomubbles worth shipping, in my opinion. True, Boomer is into weightlifting, football, soccer, hockey, baseball, basketball, boxing, wrestling, mixed martial arts, and Tae Kwon Do and Bubbles is into cheerleading, gymnastics, interpretive dancing, tai chi, and volleyball but they both love swimming, visiting the zoo, visiting the animal shelters, animals, track-and-field, art, music especially where Boomer's guitar skills, Bubbles' drum skills, and their combined singing skills come into play with flying colors, manga and anime with Boomer being a major One Piece, Dragonball Z, Naruto, and Bleach fan and Bubbles being a major Sailor Moon, Madoka Magica, and Inuyasha fan, and languages especially their abilities in speaking Spanish, Japanese, Korean, French, Italian, German, and many other languages, thus making them Team Xtreme's most reliable translators. When all is said and done, these artistic souls are more than capable of bringing fun into everything they do together.
One should never be fooled by Boomer's and Bubbles' unconditional niceness, kindness, and sweetness for their hardcore sides can be exposed with much flair and explosion in the heat of battle. Boomer is all about muscle, fierce athleticism, and amazing combat prowess and Bubbles is all about agility, strength, and endurance. Together, they can use their strong emotions, super speed, and phenomenal endurance to take down any criminal be he a robber, a sex offender, a child trafficker, an animal abuser and/or any other vile felon. The Blues are a clear-cut example of beware the nice ones, for they can use their fighting skills to bring justice to the perpetrators.
Admittedly, my feelings for Boomubbles have kind of weakened because of the occasional saccharine, schmalzy, syrupy nature of this lovey-dovey couple. However, I can forgive this trait, for I can see a few flashes of genuineness and brilliance that still make Boomubbles all the more worth rooting for. It is also the reason why I continue to have a lot of fun creating children for the Blues because, as I stated before, they are the only color-coded couple who can be in such a durable, long-lasting relationship. Plus, I am really happy to be surrounded by friends and fellow artists who are also Boomubbles shippers because of the positive traits a great number of us can find in the Blues.
Overall, I am still happy that I can call Boomubbles my OTP of the color-coded category. While Brickercup remains my OTP of the color clash category with Blossoomer and Butchubbles being tied for that title and being neck and neck with each other to the point where I can proudly call all of the color-clash couples as my OTPs and Blossutch stands tall as my OTP of the color-crack category, Boomubbles has wonderfully held up as my OTP of the color-coded category thanks to Boomer's and Bubbles' brand of loyalty, attentiveness, and tenderness.
