My choices could have been better.
I once read it down to the letter.
Then I stopped caring.
The dreams I have I swear are daring.
I mean not my aspirations.
But these dreams I have at night.
I am highly doubtful
That you've ever felt such plight.
But there is a definitive bright side.
I'm not sure who or what is left to confide
These dreams are so grandiose
In comparison with my life
Even when the people in them pull guns, axes, and knives
Sometimes I can have a dream that is much brighter
The last 2 nights I had dreams that made me a fighter
Or saw me attacked
To be more accurate
But I still loved the extreme feats of danger
Much more than what my life has become
I have to try
But we all have to die
And there is no telling when that is
Whether you claim to be gangster or a wiz
I claim neither
This simulation is a theater
But it's not a game
I no longer exhibit shame
Let me revise
I mean it can be
A game comprised of enmity
I'll never be what I wanted to
And I don't care
Hopefully I'll be something better
I just cannot understand why you've been
Observing me down to the letter
We shall burn together
I know I'm wrong
It's something I've known all along
More so I know you're not right
So what keeps me from packing up tonight?
I might be stuck to my seat,
But I haven't met defeat
I'm contemplating more dreams
And dissociating from all of your schemes
Disguised as plans and standards
Created by a bastard
