I looked at the graph and was quite shocked to see bitcoin and ethereum values plumit. Ethereum is down 32% and Bitcoin has lost almost 20% of its value.

I was very worried about what was happening, and how it could affect the Steem value. I immediately went to Bittrex.com to check on the price. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the actual value of the coin had increased.
As shocking as the crash might seem, this is a great sign for Steem as a currency, as I expect that this shows that the community values it. I will continue my pursuit to get as much Steem power in the future as it will be a great commodity to have for the long haul.
Steemit has quickly become one of the hottest places to be on the internet. I know I'm hooked, and I am so grateful to have found such a wonderful community.
