Every year around this time, the snow geese migrate north to Canada and they make a stop Desoto National Wild Life Refuge just north of Omaha Nebraska.

Desoto also has a museum on display featuring wildlife along with what life was like in the frontier days as Lewis and Clark once traveled through here on their journey. It also houses the Bertrand exhibit where the ship sank in the Missouri River and was excavated nearly 100 years later with many valuable on board. It truly is like taking a look back in time. Check out the website and stop by if you are in the area!

Experts believe that there were between 750,000 and 1 million geese that made the stop along the path of their migration. Just wanted to share this with you all! Enjoy!
