I realized I have a lot to say but none of it is enough to make it into its own post and since I've had writers block, I can't just make a thoughts from a kind of post, where I just start freewriting and then the topics start coming to my brain and I just have to find a way to link them all together. It usually works out smoothly and the post flows, but I don't feel like doing that today, I think I wouldn't be able to pull that feat today - oh yeah, it is a feat that took several years to perfect and I highly doubt you could pull it off, but this is not a competition (although if it was, you'd lose).

Instead of that, I'm just gonna drop random shit here and hope for the best.

See, this is why a thread styled frontend would be great, but anyway, as I was saying.

Internet security tips

Some other ones for you.

  • Never, ever use Edge (the new version of Internet Explorer). They are not a safe browser no matter how much they claim to be secure.

  • To close advertisement windows, never use your mouse and avoid any interaction with the website. Avoid issues and use the shortcut ctrl+w to close the window on any PC (if you have Mac then please stop reading this post).

  • Whenever you hover over a hyperlink, your browser will show the complete path it will follow in case you click the link. If you are not sure about how safe the website is, always check the path and avoid addresses with a shitton of numbers or a .exe at the end.

  • There are a lot of free tools that will make your internet life easier if you are not a hacker or an expert, these tools help your PC in getting rid of crap. Look for "malware bytes" and "ccleaner" and then never activate their license, this will allow you to keep using them forever.

  • Use Adblockers even if you are using Brave or DuckDuckGo. There are many free adblockers out there, personally I use Facebook Container and Privacy Badger, both stop tracking from several websites.

Free Shit online

Do you want to read but are you a poor Hiver like myself? I got you covered, between these three websites (you can trust the links) you can find almost every book ever written.

If you can't find the book you are looking for in those three links, use this one that searches for any book in over 100 free book depositories:

Crypto Sites useful as fuck

This is not news, if you are part of the interwebz you know how to use search engines, but sometimes you don't know what you're looking for until someone tells you about it.

Some parts of this website are outdated (still has steem, doesn't have Hive as social media options) but there are still many useful ones around.

For posting on Hive

Do you want to upload something that happens on your screen but you know it is hard and complicated as hell to download an app that records your screen and then upload on threespeak (which could be troublesome if you just want the screen capture to support your content, not be the main content itself)... well, I got your back.

First, record your screen directly from your browser with https://recordscreen.io/ and then convert that video to GIF with https://www.freeconvert.com/convert/video-to-gif and voila, you just solved a 20 minute issue in one minute.

For the conspiracy theorists

Go ahead and check https://file.wikileaks.org/file/

That's it, not a long post but I'm pretty sure more than one of you will find the information here useful.
