Hello everyone... welcome to my blog.
After enjoying a Sunday morning of yoga, dance-fitness, and functional training, I started my week feeling disciplined and more organized than ever. I swear, even I am amazed that I managed to coordinate all the schedules for the week's multitasking—starting, of course, with early Monday workouts. You see, I have a list of things to get in order before I head out; after all, the whole pack needs to have full bellies before I leave the house.
That’s a morning ritual: they come first, then the coffee—in that strict order—because there’s no way to enjoy a cup of coffee with that kind of "serenade" kicking off the day, hahaha. I’m so happy to have completed a full week of training while juggling my digital work (much of which I have to do away from home), household chores, writing, and a whole host of other things.
Well, I see I’ve skipped three days of writing; I’m sure I would have managed it if the power hadn't been cut off every single day this week without fail. They’ve been shutting it off between 6 and 7 p.m., more or less, and it doesn't come back on until the early hours of the morning. I admit it hasn't been easy to fall asleep under these circumstances, but little by little, we are adapting to a reality that is beyond our control.
I finished my university assignment for the week last night, but when I got home, the power was already out. Luckily, I had stayed for dinner where I was working, so I just fed the "pack" and went to sleep. How did I manage it? Well, it rained almost all day yesterday, so the night was cool. Honestly, I didn't even know when the power came back on until I saw a neighbor's WhatsApp status this morning.
I think the exhaustion built up over the week—combined with sleeping uncomfortably—made me drop off instantly. Today, I took the day to rest and tidy up the house. I suppose the power could go out at any moment. At least I had a chance to write; I didn't like being away for so long.
I wish you all a good night and a happy weekend.
