Greetings everyone, and welcome to my blog.
This past week was a whirlwind of activity—shuttling between offices, other people's homes, and my own. Between work, a lack of time, and power outages, we often had to improvise meals using whatever was close at hand.
We’d frequently put together a plate using leftovers from lunch plus an extra item, or assemble a breakfast from whatever had been saved the day before.
The tradition of eating leftovers isn't just for Christmas; it happens all year round, offering a quick meal solution when we don't have the time to cook something elaborate.
If you look at the dishes, they all appear delicious—you’d think the meals were carefully planned. But actually, each plate was just a mix of whatever happened to be in the fridge—hahaha!
But I have to admit: they taste just as good as a carefully planned, meticulously prepared meal.

Saludos a todos, bienvenidos a mi blog.
En esta semana pasada donde hubo mucha actividad, y en la que tuve que moverme entre oficinas, casas, y la mía, el trabajo, el corto tiempo, y los apagones, nos ponían a improvisar comidas armadas con todo lo que estaba a la mano.
Muchas veces se armaba un plato con parte del almuerzo y algo más, o se armaba un desayuno con lo que se guardaba del día anterior.
Y es que la costumbre tradicional de los recalentados no sólo se da en la navidad, sino en cualquier época del año, ya que nos resuelven una comida cuando tenemos poco tiempo para elaborarla.
Si nos detenemos a ver los platos, todo se ve delicioso, y cualquiera creería que fue algo planificado. Pero qué va, cada plato es la mezcla de todo lo que había a mano en la nevera, jajajaja.
Pero confieso algo, son tan sabrosos como un menú planificado y delicadamente elaborado.
