There is hardly anyone in this world who does not enjoy the beauty of nature, and like everyone else, I too take great pleasure in it. The beauty of the natural environment encompasses the beauty of all things within it—including the fascinating allure of various insects, which one can appreciate through careful observation. Today, I would like to share a particularly beautiful flying insect that I have encountered many times; each sighting has been a delightful experience, and today was no exception. This lovely insect is known as Brachydiplax chalybea. It is quite familiar to me and holds a special place among my favorite insects. Because I find it so captivating, I took a few photographs of it using my mobile phone, which I am now presenting here for all my friends to see.

I spotted this beautiful flying insect near a pond in the middle of some croplands, about half a kilometer south of my village home. It was perched gracefully on the leaf of a weed-like plant, and it was a truly delightful sight to behold. Upon closer observation, I noticed it resting on a thin leaf. It possesses a pair of beautifully shaped, extended wings, which allow it to fly through the air by pushing against it. Furthermore, the insect’s body features a striking combination of colors, making it look absolutely lovely. Thank you to all my friends.
