Hello friends, This is
@mmiya from #Bangladesh.
Dear Hive enthusiasts, there is a rose bush in front of our house. Today, I spotted an insect on its leaves—the kind we commonly refer to as a "hairy caterpillar." Its body is covered in long, highly toxic hairs; coming into contact with these hairs can cause various health issues, so we generally make an effort to avoid touching them.
The insect moved away shortly after I managed to take two photos of it. I later searched for the images on Google and discovered that its scientific name is Sphrageidus similis. While I have encountered such insects in various places, I found this particular one quite captivating. It is truly beautiful—its body is black, with red coloration near its legs, and a long, yellow stripe running along its back. All in all, it is a very striking insect.
