Our daily life is a series of episodes. What surrounds us? A neighbor called me this morning. She wondered if my animals were okay. It turned out that four courtyards were attacked at night. The unknown creature killed all the birds and rabbits. I immediately ran to check if my animals and birds were okay. Fortunately, everything was fine. On the other hand, I did my best to make it so, because I treat them like members of my family.
But I thought about this. Our village is almost in the forest. And for many years people have been cutting down this forest uncontrollably. Is it any wonder if some predators set up a hunt in the village? They also want to eat, and a person destroys their hunting grounds. People do not think about the consequences of their actions and do not see the causal relationship.
Below are some photos from the life of our animals. I hope you like them.
My veiled-tailed pigeons sit on a special perch at the height of the attic. I don't have a zoom lens and had to lean out the second floor window to photograph them.
A female wild duck. Its color allows it to remain almost invisible in the fall foliage.
Star in the field. A lot of space, a lot of opportunities to run and lose energy.
The seagulls don't care about the autumn coolness. They welcome every opportunity to splash in the water. In the photo the seagull Asya.
Drake Muscovy Barbarian. Over the summer, he noticeably put on weight and became huge. But after the first frost, these ducks usually lose weight quickly. These ducks live with us as pets. It would never occur to anyone to eat them!
