The so-called "dry wintering" is very bad for waterfowl. Unfortunately, there is no natural reservoir in my yard. The little artificial lakes I made for the birds freeze completely in winter.
But if you have a desire, then you can always find a way out. Therefore, from time to time I invite small decorative ducks to be guests in my house and take a bath. 🛀
It's very funny to watch them splash around and clean their feathers. Then they dry in the room and the next day I send them back to the aviary.
