Blockchain Enthusiast Teaches Us to Possibly Work Remotely
The Coronavirus pandemic brings a new pattern of work styles that are now being carried out online. Going to the office is replaced by working at home. Working remotely is considered the best solution during a pandemic to reduce the rate of transmission of this virus.
For blockchain enthusiasts, working remotely has become a habit even long before the Coronavirus. Blockchain taught them an era of "new beliefs" that were not trusted before.
The system for working remotely is not easy even though in the office the workers also just sit at their computers.
Perhaps the belief and coordination system is difficult if it is not done directly which makes the system work remotely not implemented if it is not in a forced condition.
Not to mention the old method of filling attendance with face or finger sensors that required workers to enter the office. If you don't come to the office to do a face or finger transfer as a sign of attendance, you can be sure that your salary will be reduced. It's like how I felt in my old office back then.
Adapting to Working Remotely
When have you experienced working remotely without meeting your boss or client? You do absolutely everything in your home or work flexibly wherever you like, not having to meet your co-workers. All coordination is done online.
I got to know the world of work remotely when I got to know blockchain. I got clients to manage websites and social media accounts for companies that focus on blockchain and cryptocurrency investing.
Since getting to know blockchain, I have continued to learn about how it works and I write articles about it in Indonesian. Then my client contacted me via email and asked me to handle their project.
It's been my exciting experience, how blockchain has changed my life.
So until now, we no longer work with the office system. I can work anywhere. Sometimes when I'm bored at home, I look for other locations where I'm comfortable creating content for my clients.
All of our coordination is done online such as Zoom and various applications to record the progress of all team members. Nothing is ever missed, like every morning all team members have to write down their progress on the progress recording application. We also do regular zoom meetings. There is nothing difficult to do if my internet connection is fine.
Attention to the effectiveness
Meeting in person between fellow workers is no longer important. Remotely system is more concerned with effectiveness and productivity.
I felt that before I got to know the world of blockchain, it seemed impossible. Because people are not accustomed to getting to know advanced technology and prefer to believe in conventional systems that are not 100 percent effective.
While getting to know people who have an enthusiast blockchain background is a different matter. I got a new perspective and a new way of working.
Speed and accuracy are the keys to doing a good job, especially using blockchain technology. This includes the freedom to receive a salary in the cryptocurrency that the worker wants and for a fixed amount of fiat money.
