Buongiorno amici oggi desidero raccontarvi la mitica storia di Crono. Come avveniva nell'antichità Crono aveva sposato sua sorella di nome Rea, alla quale era sacra la quercia. Ma sul letto di morte sia la madre, Madre Terra che il padre Urano morente dissero e confessarono che sarebbe stato detronizzato da uno dei figli. Quindi vivendo nel terrore Crono annualmente divorava i figli avuti da Rea: Estia, Demetra, Era , Ade e Poseidone. Ne derivava l'ira di Rea che decise di dare alla luce il terzo figlio maschio di notte su un monte in cui i corpi non danno alcuna ombra e sfuggono alla visibilità,e lo buttò in un fiume affidandolo a Madre Terra che condusse Zeus (era questo il nome del suo terzo figlio maschio) a creta, opportunatamente lo nascose in una grotta sulle colline Egea. Qui Zeus viene accudito da Adrastea la ninfa e sua sorella e dalla capretta Amaltea. Zeus amava il miele e il latte della capretta e provava gratitudine per le ninfe. Quando diventa signore dell'universo immortala tra le stelle la sagoma di Amaltea come costellazione del capricorno.Prendendo, in seguito in prestito una delle sue corna molto grandi lo fece divantare una cornucopia per farlo riempire di tantissimo cibo non appena lo si voglia. C'è chi dice che invece fu allattato da una scrofa. Bambino aveva una culletta appesa ai rami di un albero perché Crono non dovesse trovare suo figlio in ogni dove.I Cureti, per far si che i vagiti del piccolo fossero opportunatamente coperti, battevano le spade contro i loro scusi cosi che Crono non potesse sentire. I Ciclopi donarono a Zeus un'arma invincibile la folgore e fu cosi'che vinse 10 anni di terrificanti battaglie.
