This lake is located in Central Aceh district, this lake is also often called the Lake Lut Tawar by Gayo community. This lake has an area of 5,472 hectares with a length of about 17 kilometers and 3 kilometers wide. The extent of which almost resembles the vast oceans, it would not be surprised if this lake was named Lake Laut Tawar because indeed the water in this lake is not salty but tasteless.
