How Time Flies When Your Having Fun

I have just looked at my start date and realized that today is my 3 month anniversary here on Steemit! It nearly went by unnoticed but I'm glad I checked as I have some things to say.

2 months.jpg

Firstly, I like to say thank you to all the people I have come across on this platform. You have made my experience more memorable than I ever imagined! I'd like to say that I have met some people who I can call friends and know they will remain in my life. This has been so valuable to me. I want to say thank you to everyone that comes to my page and leaves comments and upvotes. I appreciate you all more than you know!

Special Mentions

I'll make a special shout out to kiwideb@kiwideb and sift666@sift666 for introducing me to Steemit and supporting me from the start. I'm sure I would have given up without your help.

Another shout out to dreemsteem@dreemsteem and monchhichi23@monchhichi23 for being my cheer leaders - you ladies are a constant source of entertainment and help. I feel your love every day!!

creatr@creatr Thank you for coming to visit and for encouraging me with my amateur attempts at poetry and telling me it was good - it made me try harder!

Thank you also to the Buddyup community for taking me in and encouraging me to grow.

Things I've Learned

Secondly, I'd like to mention that I have learned things on here from some Steemians that I have implemented and they are changing my life for the better. Some small changes and some big changes.

daddykirbs@daddykirbs has taught me how to make Apple Cider Vinegar which I am happily brewing in my pantry. It will come in useful to preserve and pickle veges for the winter and various other things. I also won't have to buy it from the supermarket anymore which pleases me greatly. He also taught me how to grow Fig trees from cuttings which I will do straight after the tree has finished fruiting.

llfarms@llfarms has taught me how to make orange essential oil which I want to use to make cleaners for the kitchen and as an additive to various other products. Her tutorials were clear and easy to understand which is awesome for a visual learner like myself. Thank you for that!

walkerland@walkerland inspired my to learn how to make soap. After a couple of discussions I gave it a try with her recipes and found that I liked making it. I experimented a lot and came up with my own recipe which I am using and loving.

Big Changes

Since this discovery, I have spent many hours researching other natural skin care products and have decided to start my own business from home, creating and selling various natural products such as Hand balm, Lip Balm, Body Butters, Bath Bombs and Soap. It's still developing but I'm happy with progress.

Since I have some down time over summer this will suit me exceptionally well. So thank you for the inspiration!!

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here so far. I have found that I am far more creative than I knew and I really love writing poetry.... who knew!

Thank you again to everyone that has supported me over the last 3 months.
