Hello dear Steemians,

auf meiner letzten Fahrradtour durch den Spessart habe ich in dem "weltbekannten" Ort Bischbrunn dieses Fundstück aufgespürt. Bischbrunn ist ein paar Hundert Seelen Dorf im Südspessart. Der Erbauer dieses Schildes hat echt Humor... ;-)
Und ein netter Mensch ist er noch dazu. Als ich Fotos von seinem Schild machte, kam ich sogleich mit ihm und seiner Frau, beide bereits über 80, in ein sehr schönes und ausgiebiges Gespräch, ja mit Wonne hatte ich mich richtig festgequatscht.... ;-)

on my last bicycle tour through the Spessart forest I tracked down this find in the "world-famous" town of Bischbrunn. Bischbrunn is a few hundred souls village in the south Spessart. The builder of this marker has real humour... ;-)
And he is also a nice person. When I took photos of his street sign, I immediately got into a very nice and extensive conversation with him and his wife, both already over 80. ;-)

Bischbrunn stand am Ende meiner Radtour durch das Mühlental des Südspessart, auf das ich in einem der nächsten Beiträge näher eingehen möchte. Wie man an diesen Bild erkennen kann, liegt Bischbrunn auf einer Erhöhung, ich schätze 500 m über NN, des Spessart.

Bischbrunn stood at the end of my bicycle tour through the Mühlental of the Südspessart, on which I would like to describe in more detail in one of the next contributions. As you can see from this picture, Bischbrunn lies on an elevation, I estimate 500 m above sea level, of the Spessart.

Am Eingang des Mühlentals befindet sich die Ruine der "Burg" Markuskapelle, die allerdings ihr besten Zeiten bereits gesehen hat. Diese Ruine hat sich bei mir seit meiner tiefsten Kindheit ins Gedächtnis eingebrannt, da sich der Standort an einer markanten Stelle auf dem Weg nach Schollbrunn, Rohrbrunn und der Autobahn A3 befindet.

At the entrance of the Mühlental there is the St. Mark's Chapel, but it has already seen its best times. This ruin has burned itself into my memory since my earliest childhood, as the location is at a prominent point on the way to Schollbrunn, Rohrbrunn and the highway A3.

The ruin described above will not be a real ghost house. But I would like to add one of my favourite rap songs from the very early days of rap to Rapthursday by @flipstar, namely Houdini's "Haunted House Of Rock".
