Hello dear friends,

the summer offered really wonderful bathing fun in the last three weeks. You didn't even have to go to a swimming pool. It was enough just to go outside the door, and the water came in abundant quantities from above. Unfortunately, the whole thing is not for sissies. If the bathing weather stays away, one should make a virtue out of necessity. With sufficient moisture and warmth, mushrooms grow in abundance.

_der Sommer bot in den letzten drei Wochen wirklich herrlichen Badespaß. Man mußte nicht mal in ein Schwimmbad gehen. Es genügte einfach vor die Tür zu gehen, und das Wasser kam in reichlichen Mengen von oben. Leider ist das ganze nichts für Warmduscher. Bleibt das Badewetter aus, sollte man aus der Not eine Tugend machen. Bei ausreichender Feuchtigkeit und Wärme gedeihen dafür die Pilze in Hülle und Fülle. _

Bay Bolete / Maronen-Röhrling (Imleria badia)

I've been going back and forth to the woods to check out my safe porcini mushroom spots. This week I finally also found porcini mushrooms.

Ich bin immer wieder in den Wald gefahren und habe meine sicheren Steinpilzfundstellen abgeklappert. Diese Woche bin ich endlich auch in Sachen Steinpilze fündig geworden.

The Tauber Valley is actually one of the driest places in Germany. It is quite extraordinary when you can find numerous mushrooms here in August. However, what I really like about mushrooms in August is the possibility of being able to snack on blackberries now and then.

Das Taubertal ist eigentlich einer der trockensten Orte Deutschlands. Es will schon was heißen, wenn man hier im August zahlreiche Pilze finden kann. Was ich allerdings am Pilze im August echt mag, ist die Möglichkeit, ab und an auch mal Brombeeren naschen zu können.

Actually, I wanted to spend more time at the quarry pond. For an evening swim in a rain break, the temperatures were but all times good enough. Nevertheless, there were also days when I could warm up in the lake!!! :-)

Eigentlich wollte ich mich ja vermehrt am Baggersee aufhalten. Für ein abendliches Bad in einer Regenpause waren die Temperaturen aber allermal gut genug. Trotzdem gab es auch Tage, an dem ich mich im See aufwärmen konnte!!! :-)

Another advantage of this "super summer weather" is that I could also work well in the studio. Completely without heavy sweating. Thereby also further good tracks were created, which can be released in the next weeks and months. But back to the main topic of this post. When I found the yellow stagshorn, it was clear to me that soon we should also expect porcini mushrooms.

Ein weiterer Vorteil dieses "Super Sommer Wetters" ist, daß ich auch gut im Studio arbeiten konnte. Völlig ohne Hitzewallungen. Dabei sind auch weiter gute Tracks entstanden, die in den nächsten Wochen und Monaten veröffentlicht werden können. Aber zurück zum Hauptthema dieses Beitrags. Als ich den Klebrigen Hörnling fand, war mir klar, daß bald auch mit Steinpilzen zu rechnen sein müsste.

Was man im Wald dabei so alles findet... Auch Kröten und eine Ringelnatter waren meine kurzen Begleiter....

At the weekend also a new track of me appears, in collaboration with DJ Frankforce One. I was also pleased to see that "Truth is Light" has already held its own in the DANCE 50 DJ Charts for 2 weeks at number 23.

Am Wochende erscheint auch ein neuer Track von mir, in Zusammenarbeit mit DJ Frankforce One. Mit Freude konnte ich zudem konstatieren, daß sich "Truth is Light" in den DANCE 50 DJ Charts schon seit 2 Wochen auf Platz 23 behaupten konnte.
