Hello dear friends,

I am plagued for a week by a nagging bronchitis. Therefore, I have to take care of my health just a little bit, so that I was not on the road with the bike. A walk in the fresh air I let me nevertheless not take. And I must say, the surreal atmosphere had already something dystopian and ghostly. In any case, this evening walk will remain in my memory.

Hallo liebe Freunde,
ich werde seit einer Woche durch eine nervige Bronchitis geplagt. Daher ist bei mir Schonung angesagt, so daß ich auch nicht mit dem Rad unterwegs war. Einen Gang an der frischen Luft ließ ich mir trotzdem nicht nehmen. Und ich muß sagen, die surreale Atmosphäre hatte schon etwas dystopisches und gespenstisches. Auf jeden Fall wird mir dieser Abendspaziergang in Erinnerung bleiben.

Honestly, I'm already a little jealous of those of you who live in latitudes where it's always pleasantly warm. Since my little ones are in school, I have the "plague" every October. I can almost align the calendar with it ;-).

Ehrlich gesagt bin ich schon ein wenig eifersüchtig auf diejenigen von Euch, die in Breiten wohnen, wo es immer angenehm warm ist. Seit meine Kleinen in der Schule sind, habe ich jeden Oktober die "Seuche". Ich kann fast den Kalender danach ausrichten. ;-)

At the beginning of my walk, when it was still relatively bright, I treated myself to an apple. The fog was already slowly rising. 1 apple a day keeps doctor away, they say. Has unfortunately not quite worked for me ;-)

Zu Beginn meines Spaziergangs,als es noch relativ hell war, habe ich mir noch einen Apfel gegönnt. Der Nebel zog schon langsam auf. 1 apple a day keeps doctor away heißt es ja. Hat bei mir leider nicht ganz funktioniert. ;-)

In a dystopia, of course, a hell beast can't be missing. However, this is only a harmless grass snake. The perspective is also deceptive. Another passerby has carefully moved the animal into the meadow. That was important, because some cars came around the corner. The local soccer team had training.

In einer Dystopie darf natürlich ein Höllentier nicht fehlen. Allerdings ist das hier nur eine harmlos Ringelnatter. Die Perspektive täuscht zudem. Es ist auch noch ein Jungtier gewesen.Ein weiterer Passant hat das Tier vorsichtig in die Wiese verfrachtet. Das war wichtig, denn es kamen einige Autos um die Ecke. Die örtliche Fußballmannschaft hatte Training.

For some, this (this soccer club) may be the horror. For others it is life ;-)

Für einige mag das das Grauen sein. Für andere ist es das Leben. ;-) Eine Lichtgestalt haben wir in diesem Sport ja auch noch. Allerdings ist das immer ein Roter gewesen... ;-)

Sieht ein bißchen aus wie eine Seilbahn. Ist aber nur ein Stromkabel über Grünenwört bei Wertheim.
