Last year, I was in Utila. One of the Bay Islands in Honduras.
I went with no expectations and was pleasantly surprised! This tiny island has a lot to offer.
From Grand Cayman, we flew direct to La Ceiba. Got a taxi to the ferry and this is the ferry ride.

Utila has a unique charm. Life is simple.
One thing I have to mention is that there are a lot of expats. Some are running their own businesses. Ideal place for backpackers. You feel incredibly close to nature.
